EASTER AT CONCORD
PALM SUNDAY April 13 at 10:30 a.m. The crowds in Jerusalem on that day celebrated the coming of their new king. But Jesus was not like any other king, nor was His Kingdom like any other kingdom. Join us as we sing and celebrate the one true King who leads us to serve Him in many important ways.	EASTER FUN DAY April 13, 1:30PM We invite families with children of all ages, from preschoolers on up, to join us for an exciting day of activities! MAUNDY THURSDAY April 17, 6PM Join us as we reflect on the night of the Last Supper. This reflective worship and communion time will draw us in to Jesus' new mandate for his disciples. As a matter of fact, the term Maundy comes from the Latin word mandatum, meaning “mandate” or “commandment." Thus, Maundy Thursday is the day we focus our attention on Jesus' command for us. The very night he was arrested, Jesus stated his commandment this way: A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:34–35)	GOOD FRIDAY STL April 18, 6PM David Phelps will be joining our first annual Good Friday STL for a Celebration of Love! This evening will be a powerful and moving event! His stunning vocal range and heartfelt performances complement the solemn and reflective nature of Good Friday. David Phelps is credited among today’s most spectacular voices. EASTER SUNDAY April 20, 10:30AM What you say about Jesus says a lot about you. And, on resurrection Sunday, we will proclaim our devotion to His reign. BAPTISM SUNDAY April 27, 10:30AM On this Sunday we will celebrate those who have gone public with their faith through Baptism. King Jesus commands us to be baptized, and so we are inviting those who need baptism to let us know. If you have already been baptized, be present as we cheer on new believers.
