Operation Christmas Child partners with churches worldwide to reach kids with the gospel. After receiving shoebox gifts, many children are discipled through Samaritan Purse’s Bible study courses, where they learn to become faithful followers of Christ and to share their faith with others.
Four ways you can join in
- Take an empty box and pack it (include money for postage if able)
- Donate items to pack extra boxes (most needed items are soap washcloths, crayons, pencils, pens, erasers, combs, small stuffed animals)
- Help assemble extra boxes at a packing party
- Donate money for postage or to purchase items (designate a check or give online and put OCC in the notes)
When to pick up a box
You can pick up a shoebox between October 11 and November 13 when the church is open for Sunday services, on weekdays during regular office hours, or on Wednesdays between 6:30 and 8pm.
Help pack additional boxes
Help assemble additional boxes at a packing party on November 8 or 15. Packing parties on both days will be from 1:30-3pm. Reservations are required. Use the button below to RSVP.
November 4 – Individual items for extra boxes are due
November 15 – Packed shoeboxes are due
