My salvation experience is as a baby, I was christened in the Presbyterian church. As an adult, I was baptized at Concord Church. I’ve witnessed the power of salvation in my own life and in the lives of others. I would be happy to share these stories with anyone!

I was raised by loving parents and two wonderful older sisters. My folks have passed on. I remain very close to my sisters. I am so proud to call Donna my wife…she loves me, warts and all. Donna and I have known each other since we were kids; we married in 1988. We’ve been blessed with two great kids (now adults), Trey and Mattie.

I’ve attended Concord for 18 years. First and foremost, I love getting to know the members of the church! Also, I enjoy serving the Lord with my time and talents as a member of the Safety Team.

What interests me about this role is I’d like to help our members use their God-given talents to further the work we do in the mission field. If we can believe it, we can achieve it!

One important Bible verse for me is

John 3:16 John 3:16. I am continually amazed and humbled that our God sacrificed so much for our salvation.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

One strength I feel I bring to the Deacon team is Communication! I enjoy being the person who gets people talking!
