Kim currently serves as the Missions Director for Concord. In this capacity, she oversees and develops various mission opportunities locally, nationally and internationally. Her desire is to see our Concord family develop a strong live-to-give mentality that spills over into our everyday lives and enables us to become carriers of the love of God in practical, meaningful ways everywhere we go.
Kim also serves as the Welcome Team Coordinator, which includes overseeing the dedicated volunteers who help ensure that our church family and guests have a positive experience “from the street to the seat” each week at our Sunday services. This team includes Auditorium Hosts, Greeters, Bulletin Workers, Hospitality Service, Welcome Desk Attendants, Parking Lot Attendants and the Safety Team.
Originally joining the Concord staff in the fall of 2017 as the Adult Discipleship Director, Kim transitioned into the Missions Director position in January 2021. She has over 30 years of ministry experience, including a total of 14 years on staff at two different non-denominational mega-churches (one of which she served at as the Adult Education Director for 8 years). During that time, she also had the opportunity to make four trips to Israel (twice on tours and twice on two different 6-week-long mission trips), which she describes as truly life-changing and responsible for a greater stirring in her heart for mission involvement.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Kim attended Southwest Baptist College for two years before transferring to UMSL and graduating with a BA in Psychology. She enjoys reading, rehabbing and family game nights.
