General Description

As the lead of our technical team at Concord Church, you will oversee all technological aspects of our services. This includes participation in planning, set-up, operation, and maintenance of audio, video, and lighting equipment for worship services. The Technical Director will coordinate volunteers as needed for Sunday morning services and special events. This position will have a strong emphasis in four main areas:

  1. Front of house sound
  2. ProPresenter setup and operation
  3. Capturing and mixing live digital broadcast
  4. Overall stage design and creative elements

Necessary Qualifications

  • Strong capabilities with the latest version of ProProsenter
  • Live sound mixing, gain structure, equalization, effects, compression
  • Understanding of LED lighting fixtures, DMX control, and lighting design
  • Experience with video presentation hardware, signal flow, and ProPresenter7
  • Understanding of video cameras, video recording, and video switching
  • Knowledge of live broadcast
  • Ability to work well with volunteers

Preferred Skills

  • Managerial experience
  • Musical ability on one or more instruments
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
