Position: Technical Director

General Description
As the lead of our technical team at Concord Church, you will oversee all technological aspects of our services. This includes participation in planning, set-up, operation, and maintenance of audio, video, and lighting equipment for worship services. The Technical Director will coordinate volunteers as needed for Sunday morning services and special events. This position will have a strong emphasis in four main areas:
- Front of house sound
- ProPresenter setup and operation
- Capturing and mixing live digital broadcast
- Overall stage design and creative elements
Necessary Qualifications
- Strong capabilities with the latest version of ProProsenter
- Live sound mixing, gain structure, equalization, effects, compression
- Understanding of LED lighting fixtures, DMX control, and lighting design
- Experience with video presentation hardware, signal flow, and ProPresenter7
- Understanding of video cameras, video recording, and video switching
- Knowledge of live broadcast
- Ability to work well with volunteers
Preferred Skills
- Managerial experience
- Musical ability on one or more instruments
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
